RELIGIOUS DEVELOPMENTS
Religious developments may include new build churches, temples, mosques, and assembly halls. Cemetery, crematoria and burial structures and facilities are also included here. The larger developments may include administration centres and accommodation blocks. Large car parking areas are normally required. In the urban environment these are more frequently taken below ground in basements. Re-use of former industrial or commercial buildings into religious meeting places are becoming more common in the urban environment, where space is at a premium.
Asset’s Principal Engineers have experience completing investigations for a wide range of foundation conditions and input to the design of buildings and basement structures. We can arrange investigations to difficult access sites where alterations and additions are required.
Where existing structures are showing signs of distress we can work alongside structural engineers to investigation and help determine the cause of the problems. We can then work together to determine cost-effective remedial solutions.
