SPORTING FACILITIES
Sporting facilities include swimming pools, gymnasiums, athletic tracks, and associated infrastructure. These facilities are often relatively large in area and often sited over land with significant constraints. Key geotechnical issues include foundations, earthworks, acid sulfate and saline soils, and site contamination.
Asset has carried out ground investigations and environmental assessments for sporting facilities built on sites with constraints including deep landfilling, site contamination, and acid sulfate soils.
