Foundation Design

Perhaps one of the more recognisable areas in which we work, foundation design involves the careful selection of geotechnical parameters to analyse and design suitable foundations for a particuar set of geological conditions.

We have completed thousands of projects that have required advice on foundation design, ranging from relatively straightforward slab-on-ground footings for lightweight structures, to heavily-loaded pad footings and rock-socketed piles for high-rise buildings, to piled-raft slabs for sites with heavy loads but very deep bedrock. We are fully conversant with Ultimate Limit State and Serviceability design requirements to the current Australian Design Standards.
